But if you use AI, and/or tolerate/accept its use, I want absolutely nothing to do with you, or your characters. It has absolutely no use in a community where ideas are made by actual people.   PERSONALITY    There's many ways Eliceyn has been described. Convoluted, contradictory, but above all: puzzling. Most have known her to be reserved and taciturn; the very few who see what she hides behind her mask claim beneath the cold exterior is a woman who has bent and bowed but never broke.It's difficult to say where the mask she wears ends and the true person beneath it begins, but there's no doubt behind it is a complex puzzle many have tried and failed to solve. Those who have found something they could only call a hidden treasure, or their worst nightmare.

Not much is known about Eliceyn (or rather who she is, truly) save what her partners and the few friends she has know (and are unwilling to say). Publicly across Eorzea, she is simply known to be a common merchant who occasionally moonlights as a bartender, with a history of selling her body to wealthy patrons for coin.In Ishgarde, she was once known as a secret companion to a few noble lords and ladies stuck in loveless marriages, rumored to be the bastard of a defrauding noble lord's wife.In Sharlayan and Radz-at-Han, to the reseachers and alchemist, she is a valuable asset to their research. There are also rumors circulating around Sharlayan that she is the child of a prominent member of the Forum.In the Red Lantern District of Kugane, she was once a prolific bawdy house owner, 'spinning straw into gold' with those who had nowhere to go, and a desire to survive, even if it meant selling their bodies.A 'fair and firm' madam, she tolerated no disrespect to her or her custom. What made it all tumble down were rumors of her carrying out brutal killings, rumors made more believable when she was arrested for said murders (only released for lack of witnesses and evidence). Those who remember regard her either with respect, or fear.These days, she is frequently spotted between the main city hubs, oftentimes with one of her partners.

An important person from Eliceyn's past she thought long-gone, and the biological father to Eliceyn's son.A former conscript, he was forced to join the garlean army after his home came under occupation (at the threat of execution if he refused), stationed in Kugane for a number of years for training until he was deployed to Doma.On record, he is said to be deceased, having met his demise after an explosion at Castrum Lacus Litore. The few who know he's alive know the true story of his "demise".Currently he is making a life for himself, and trying to learn more about his former flame and their son.This character is not in-game and is considered an NPC

  Evelia Soleux

Eliceyn's mother; to say the two have a strained relationship is an understatement.For over twenty years, Evelia sat in the gaols beneath The Vault in Ishgarde, imprisoned by her late eldest daughter (for reasons she will not say).Though she and Eliceyn frequently butt heads, it is clear she cares for her daughter and wants whats best for her.A member of the Sharlayan Forum, she carries out her duties with pride and skill befitting one of her status.Currently she resides in Sharlayan with her husband and their grandson, where she acts as his caretaker and one of his mentors.This character is not in-game and is considered an NPC

  Grayson "Sparrow" Soleux

Eliceyn's son.
The center of her entire world.Growing up isolated in the stone walls of Ishgarde under the care of his late aunt, he knew very little of his mother as a boy. By the time he learned of her afflictions, of his family's origins, he was already a man of eighteen summers.A penchant for mischief, and a history of catastrophic antics that have given the forum enough grey hairs to last a lifetime, he's a young man who hides a mess of complex emotions and feelings behind sarcasm and wit.Make no mistake, he wears his foolishness as a mask, concealing his true strengths until the need arises to reveal them.There is no doubt which of his parents he takes after, in personality and prowess.This character is not in-game and is considered an NPC

  Dante Redstone   

Relationship: RomanticOne of Eliceyn's first partners; the two of them met under strange circumstances, and after spending a single night together, the spark between them quickly burst into a wildfire.His silly antics and personality mixed with his uncanny ability to tolerate her snark and sarcasm managed to charm her and effectively, helped warm her once cold heart.Often he is away for travels, but when they can see each other, they act as if they had never been parted.

The bond between Garrik and Eliceyn formed in a very non-typical fashion for the hyur. Where as many vied for her favor, Garrik saw her for more than what others believed her to be. So it was no surprise that the two eventually became romantic partners.He saw who she was behind the complex mask she always wore, and rather than turn away, showed her the compassion and understanding she never expected from anyone, as well as patience.He's also one of the few people who can put up with her shenanigans since being freed from the voidsent that she once hosted in her body.

  Kugane    : The Red Lantern District:Despite no longer having a business in the infamous district, she still has a myriad of friends and colleagues who not only reside in it, but work within its walls. she is frequently seen at a strange medicine shop, cavorting with an elezen gentleman.Her name tends to have various reactions, some in respect, others out of fear or wariness.  Sharlayan    : The Studium:In the very early days of Evelia's newfound freedom, Eliceyn hid their relationship, claiming to be an assistant. Once Eliceyn was no longer a danger to herself, her own mother revealed the true nature of their relationship.Because of their unique heritage, Eliceyn willingly subjects herself to be a "research specimen" for those born with void-tainted aether in hopes of understanding their condition.  The Rookery    : "The Hideout":Eliceyn's own bar and establishment; a small bar hidden in a corner of The Lavender Beds, when she is not seen at her usual hauntings, she is often there either hiding in her offices, or slinging drinks to the thirsty patrons who occupy its doors.Her venue is oftentimes seen as a 'safe haven' for those who come from unusal backgrounds, or those much like its unusual owner.This venue has closed its doors to the public permanently in-game, but still remains open for the sake of story.  The Royal Chambers    : "Den Of Desires":A risque venue meant for those with heavier desires to be fulfilled in the sheets, Eliceyn works there to capture guests and staff in their best forms (when not working in the back rooms). She rarely speaks to other patrons, but is always willing to take your photo upon request.
